Emanuela Piu

After a Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design from the European Design Institute (IED) in Roma, Italy, where she graduated with honours in 2016, she spent one year in Sydney, Australia, working for an architecture firm. In 2018, she returned to Italy and, after completing a course with the Italian Production Design Guild, began working as an Art Department Assistant at Cinecittà on "6 Underground," directed by Michael Bay and produced by Netflix. Following this experience, she decided to further improve her skills for a career in the Art Department, and in 2019 she applied to the National Film and Television School (NFTS) in the UK, where she graduated in 2020 with a Master of Art in Production Design.

She recently concluded her role as an Assistant Art Director on Ridley Scott’s upcoming film, while also being mentored by Arthur Max.
